On September 8, 2023, Zurich witnessed a significant event - the Business Conference on Trade, Investments, and Sustainable Technology Ecosystem, jointly organized by the Embassy of Viet Nam in Switzerland, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam, Bellecapital International AG of Switzerland, Swiss-Asia Chamber of Commerce, KIBV, and AVIES.

This conference served as a pivotal platform for policymakers, economic experts, companies, and investors from both Vietnam and Switzerland. Its core objectives were to facilitate dialogue on trade, investment, and technology, thereby nurturing collaboration and fortifying partnerships between the two nations. Key highlights included a panel discussion on trade led by Philipp Rösler, featuring Ambassador Markus Schlagenhof, Delegate of the Federal Council for Trade Agreements, and Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, General Director of the European-American. They assessed the current state of trade relations, delved into existing trade agreements, strategies for enhancing investment and market access, and addressed trade barriers and regulatory challenges.
